Walter Rose and Son Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates walterroseandson.co.uk. These terms and conditions apply to your use of this website and to any order you place with us. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

We aim to keep product information, pricing and availability accurate and up to date, but errors can occasionally occur — we’ll always contact you before processing an order if something is wrong.
Some products, including our alcohol range, are age-restricted and can only be sold to and delivered to persons aged 18 or over. We may ask for proof of age on delivery and will not release age-restricted items without it.
You can order via our website or by calling us on 01380 722335. Placing an order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed once we accept your order, for example by confirming dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order at our discretion — for example if a product is unavailable — in which case we will contact you and provide a full refund for anything already paid.
All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken by credit or debit card at the time you place your order. Any promotional offers or discount codes are applied at checkout and cannot be applied retrospectively.
We deliver to a large part of the UK using our own fleet of vans. Standard delivery is free on orders over £70. Below this threshold, or if you fall outside our local delivery area and require courier delivery, a shipping cost of £17.10 applies.

Deliveries may be affected by public and bank holidays. Orders are packed in fully insulated, recyclable packaging to keep contents chilled in transit — please place your order straight into the fridge or freezer as soon as you’re able. Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery, or leave clear instructions at checkout. Courier orders include a tracked consignment number.
You can cancel your order any time before it’s dispatched by calling us on 01380 722335, and we’ll provide a full refund. Because our products are fresh, perishable meat, the standard 14-day distance-selling cancellation right does not apply once an order has been dispatched.
Full detail on cancellations, our product guarantee, and how refunds are handled is set out in our Refund Policy.
We describe our products as accurately as we can, but natural products vary in size, weight and appearance. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please contact us on 01380 722335 or enquiries@walterroseandson.co.uk before ordering so we can advise you — allergen information is available on request.
All content on this website — including text, images, logos and recipes — belongs to Walter Rose and Son Limited or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without our permission.
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or from an order, except where that loss results from our negligence or breach of these terms, or where liability cannot be excluded by law (for example, death or personal injury caused by our negligence). Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, courier or supply chain disruption, or industrial action.
If you’re unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us on 01380 722335 or via our Contact page and we’ll do our best to put things right.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
