Refund and Returns Policy

As a family-run business, we want you to be completely happy with your order. This policy explains when and how you’re entitled to a refund.

1. Cancelling Your Order

You can cancel your order at any time before it’s dispatched by calling us on 01380 722335. We’ll provide a full refund to your original payment method.

Because our products are fresh, perishable meat prepared to order, the standard 14-day distance-selling cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once your order has been dispatched. The guarantees below set out the terms on which we handle returns and refunds after dispatch.

2. Our Product Guarantee

If you’re not happy with any aspect of your order once it arrives, please contact us on 01380 722335 or via our Contact page. We will:

  • Replace the item at no additional cost, or
  • Provide a full refund

This applies to products that are faulty, damaged, or not as described, and does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

3. Missing or Incorrect Items

If part of your order is missing or incorrect, let us know within 48 hours of delivery and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund for the affected items.

4. Substitutions & Out-of-Stock Items

If we’re unable to supply part of your order, we’ll contact you to offer a replacement item of similar or higher value at the same price. You’re free to cancel your order at this point. If you’re not happy with the replacement when it arrives, we’ll give you a full refund for it.

5. Non-Delivery

If your order doesn’t arrive as expected, please let us know within 48 hours so we can investigate with our delivery team or courier and arrange a replacement or refund.

6. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 working days.

7. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
