
At Walter Rose & Son, we’ve always believed that passion, quality, and tradition are at the heart of everything we do. This year, we’ve been incredibly proud and humbled to see that hard work recognised in several amazing ways – and we couldn’t wait to share the good news with you, our loyal customers and supporters.
First off, we were honoured to be named Best Butchers in Wiltshire at England’s Business Awards 2024. To top that off, we were also selected as finalists in the Grand Finale, standing alongside some of the best businesses from across the country. It’s a testament to our incredible team and the strong relationships we’ve built within our local community.
We’re also excited to share that our much-loved beef sausages were finalists in UK Sausage Week 2025. It’s always been our goal to make products that are both traditional and exceptional – and seeing them celebrated on a national stage means the world to us.
In the Restaurant Reader Awards, we picked up not just one but two awards – Top Supplier and Best Meat Supplier. We work closely with so many brilliant chefs, restaurants, and food businesses, so it’s an absolute privilege to be recognised by the people who rely on our produce every day.
We were also proud finalists in the Farm Shop & Deli Awards 2025, another fantastic moment that reflects the care we put into everything from our counter displays to customer service.
And last but not least – we’re thrilled to announce that our chicken, bacon, and mushroom pies are currently finalists in the Food Industry Awards 2025 for Best Bakery Product. The results are due in June, so fingers crossed – but being shortlisted already feels like a win in itself.
