Exceptional In Taste & Texture

Each year the Meat Management Industry Awards recognise the best manufacturers, producers and suppliers in the UK meat sector, and are voted for by the readers of Meat Management magazine and judged by experts in the UK meat industry. The awards were streamed live to butchery industry professionals throughout the UK.

With over a thousand meat products entered, our superior Star Burger was given their ‘Highly Commended Award’. Judged on appearance, size, fat content, taste, texture and of course, taste, the burger is a throwback to the popular 1950s-inspired American dish and has become as popular as a 1950s film icon with our much-loved customers.

Full of Flavour

The Walter Rose Star Burger contains lean chuck steak and suet, which gives it such a supreme flavour. Today’s burgers are getting leaner, but as a result, they lack flavour and juiciness. We have been selling the Walter Rose Star Burger in the shop for the last seven years and our customers love it!

“Many congratulations to Walter Rose & Son and all who took part. With nearly 1,000 products entered, receiving a highly commended award is a major accolade in Britain’s most prestigious meat industry awards. I am sure your success will attract much interest from the industry and customers.”
