Your Order and Delivery

You can place an order with Walter Rose & Son by making your selection and completing the online process on this website. Alternatively you can call us on 01380 722335 to place your order.

We are only able to deliver orders within the UK and depending on where you live your order will either be delivered by one of our local delivery vans or via a national courier service. Delivery is free if your order is being delivered to one of the postcodes detailed below or £10 for any other orders. We also offer a free delivery service for orders placed over the value of £75. Occasionally we may run promotions offering free delivery but these will be subject to the particular terms and conditions relating to that promotion.

We provide a free local delivery service for customers in the surrounding areas of Devizes and Trowbridge who live within the following postcodes SN9, SN10, SN11, SN12, BA1, BA2, BA11, BA12, BA13, BA14 and BA15. For local deliveries your order will be delivered to you from our shop i n Devizes between the hours of 8.00 am and 5.00 pm. For courier deliveries your order will be delivered via a next day delivery service following the day of dispatch from our shop

Please be aware that deliveries may be affected by public and bank holidays. If you have any queries, please call us on 01380 722335 and one of the team will be able to assist you. Unfortunately we are currently unable to deliver to the following destinations.

Scottish Highlands postcodes IV, KW1-14, PA34, PA37-39, PH19-40, PH41 4, PH49-50, Scottish Islands. Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands and the Channel Islands.

We use fully insulated packaging and your order will be carefully packed to ensure that the contents remain chilled, however on receiving your delivery we would recommend that you place your order directly into the fridge (or if preferred your freezer) as soon as you are able. Please ensure that you are at home to receive your delivery or if not you have left clear instructions for the driver delivering your order, something you can do during the check-out process.

We will attempt delivery to the address and postcode as it has been entered during the checkout process and cannot accept liability for late or failed delivery due to an incorrect address. If you are unsure of an address or postcode please check this before completing the check-out process.

For courier deliveries you will be sent details of your consignment number by the courier in order to track your parcel.

Payment of Your Order

Payment is taken by credit card and debit card at the time of placing your order. Any promotional offers will be applied at the time of checkout. Apologies but we are unable to accept Walter Rose & Son gift vouchers as payment for website orders.

Viewing Your Orders

If you have registered your details on our website them you can view your orders by clicking on the right hand button within the online shop and signing in.

Cancelling Your Order

If you change your mind after placing an order you may cancel your order before it is dispatched, by calling us on 01380 722335. We will provide you with a full refund.

Our Product Guarantee

As a traditional family business we pride ourselves in providing all of our customers with the finest quality meat and a great service. In the unlikely event you are not happy with any aspect of your order then please get in touch with us by calling 01380 722335 or via the Contact Us section of this site. We will happily replace your order at no additional cost or provide you with a full refund.

If you have any questions or would like us to supply a cut of meat that you can’t see on our website then please give us a call on 01380 722335  and speak to one of the team to discuss your requirement.

If for some reason we are unable to supply any part of your order we will we will contact you to offer you a suitable replacement item that will be of similar or higher value at the same price. At this point you would of course be free to cancel your order. If you are not happy with the replacement item when it arrives, we will give you a full refund.

Butchery Master Classes Terms and Conditions

Butchery Master Class vouchers are valid for 12 months from the day of purchase and a class must be booked during this twelve-month period. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or products from our shops or online.

In the unfortunate event of having to cancel one of our Master Classes, we will contact you at the earliest opportunity and you will be offered the choice of attending on an alternative date or receiving a full refund.

Once a booking onto a Master Class has been confirmed then it is non-refundable, however should you have to move your booking due to unforeseen circumstances you can do this provided you give us 14 days’ notice. The content of each class may differ to that advertised if necessary.

You must be eighteen or over to attend a Walter Rose & Son Butchery Master Class. As parts of the class will be conducted in our meat preparation area, please come suitable dressed in warm clothes and wearing flat shoes with a good grip.
